Used Electronics Recycling and Refurbishment for the Greater Pensacola Area. Let’s keep the Gulf Coast beautiful by keeping your old technology out of the landfills!

How are my electronics recycled?

Depending on condition, usefulness, and profitability; Electronic Devices (once thoroughly sanitized of all data) may either be broken down for component parts or refurbished and rehomed.

Why is electronics recycling important?

In 2022, an estimated 62 tons of e-waste was produced globally with the vast majority making its way into landfills and oceans. Not only is this bad for our environment, but it represents the loss of numerous nonrenewable resources that could see continued use in different applications.

How does refurbishing old electronics help?

A computer (for example) that’s too slow for modern games could still be great for retro gaming. Or it can be upgraded slightly (using other reclaimed parts) and act as an amazing workstation for a small business startup, or for a student on a tight budget.

What types of electronics can be recycled?

Common electronics that can be recycled include computers, laptops, smartphones, tablets, game consoles, networking equipment, and televisions – but please reach out and we’ll be happy to provide a free consultation and let you know if we’re a good fit for you!

Where can I recycle my electronics?

If you’re wanting to handle your own recycling, you can usually find local recycling centers, electronic waste collection events, or through manufacturer recycling programs – though some places may have fees for large drop offs, certain types of items, or poundage. We’re happy to help for free, usually!

How can I arrange for my old electronics to be picked up?

You can call us at 1-850-988-1379 any time, but if you reach us after hours, please leave a message! We very rarely have to charge for pickup, but the consult is always free and you’re under no obligation if you don’t like what we offer!

But what about my data? Doesn’t recycling my old PCs put my data at risk?

We’d never advise simply erasing and releasing a storage device because if it falls into the wrong hands, your valuable information could potentially be pulled out of an old drive. This is why we offer secure drive sanitization or drive destruction options in compliance with the NIST SP 800-88r2 as well as the DoD 5220.22-m standards!
